As an admin, sometimes you may need to step in and end a user's matching. If you ever need to end a matching, you can easily do so from your Active Matches table.
Accessing the Active Matches Table:
First, sign in as an admin and select the program you wish to end the matching in:
Once you select your program you will be taken to your Program Home Page. On this page, you can click the Active Matches button in the middle of the page to access the table:
Ending a Matches:
On the Active Matches table, you will see all currently active matches between your registered mentees, mentors, and peers. To toggle your view between mentor-mentee matches, and peer-peer matches, simply click on the respective matching type above the table:
- Note: Peer-peer matches will only appear here if peer matching is enabled for your program. For more information on peer-peer matches, check out our article here!
- Note: All non-completed sessions will be removed (this will not count towards a badge or certificate)
- Note: If the sessions were booked with a calendar integration, ending a match will not cancel the actual calendar invites.Â
Now in my case, I would like to end the matching between Megan and Martin. To do so, I must click on the Action button ()Â near the right side of the table and click Stop Matching:
When you go to end the matching, you will see a few options available to you:
- Add a reason: here you can add a note for why you're ending this matching. These reasons can only be seen by other program administrators
- Do not match these users again in the future: enabling this feature will disqualify the matching, which will prevent these users from entering any matches together in this program in the future. Note that disqualifications are program-specific, and users can still be matched together in other programs if a disqualification does not exist in the other program(s).
- Notify mentee and mentor: if you leave this feature enabled, both the mentee and mentor in the matching will receive an email notifying them that their matching has ended. If you would rather the users not know, you can uncheck this box.
If you would like to end multiple matches at the same time, you can check off the boxes next to the Mentee column and click on the Perform Bulk Action on Selected followed by clicking the Stop Matching button:Â
