Together supports SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) packages, allowing organizations to embed interactive and trackable learning experiences into their mentorship programs. SCORM content can include training modules, videos, quizzes, and more—enabling a deeper level of participant engagement and completion tracking.

Note: SCORM must be enabled for your organization. If it’s not currently available, please contact your Together Account Manager to get started.

What is SCORM?

SCORM is an eLearning standard that packages content in a way that allows it to be shared and reused across different platforms. By using SCORM in Together, you can deliver formalized learning content directly within your mentorship programs, without relying on external links or standalone LMS platforms.

SCORM also allows Together to automatically track whether a participant has completed the content based on built-in completion rules defined within the SCORM file.

Uploading SCORM Content

When creating new content in Together, you will need to select SCORM as the content type. This must be done at the time of content creation, as the content type cannot be changed later.

You can upload:

  • SCORM packages exported from your LMS
  • SCORM content purchased or licensed from third-party providers

To upload:

  1. Go to the Content section in the admin panel.
  2. Click Create Content.
  3. Select SCORM as the content type.
  4. Upload your SCORM file (.zip format).

Make sure your file meets SCORM formatting standards to ensure it uploads and runs correctly.

Previewing SCORM Content

After uploading, you can preview the content from within the Content tool. This allows you to review how the SCORM package will appear and function for participants before publishing.

Previewing helps verify that the package renders as expected and that any interactive elements (such as quizzes or videos) function properly.

Tracking Progress and Completion

SCORM content tracks progress automatically based on the criteria set within the SCORM file itself. This could include actions like watching a video to the end, completing a quiz, or navigating through all slides.

Participants cannot manually mark SCORM content as complete. Once they fulfill the requirements defined in the SCORM file, the system will automatically update their completion status.

To track user progress:

  1. Navigate to the Track Progress tab in the Content section.
  2. Select the SCORM content you want to review.
  3. View completion data for each participant.

If needed, you can reset an individual participant’s progress. This is helpful if they encounter an issue or need to revisit the module.

When Should You Use SCORM?

SCORM content is ideal when your program includes structured learning that requires verified completion. Common use cases include:

  • Compliance or policy training
  • Onboarding modules
  • Interactive learning with quizzes and assessments

By using SCORM in Together, you can centralize learning and mentorship in one platform without sacrificing content quality or tracking capabilities.
