Before you launch registration for your program, you’ll need to complete a few essential setup tasks to ensure a smooth experience for participants. This step walks you through the Registration phase and how to prepare your program before inviting users.

1. Access the Registration Setup

From your program homepage, click the Go to Registration button to open the Registration page.

2. Complete the Registration Checklist

Your Registration page includes a checklist of all items that must be marked as “done” before you can turn registration on.

The checklist includes:

  • Import User Data (Optional): Add users manually or upload a CSV or HRIS to pre-populate your program.
  • Configure and Preview Questions & Algorithm: Set up the registration process that participants will complete and fine-tune the matching algorithm.
  • Ensure Integrations Are Ready to Go: Double-check integrations like calendars, SSO, or HRIS are connected and active.
  • Review Notification Templates: Customize automated emails sent during registration, matching, and beyond.
  • Configure Matching: Confirm that your matching settings are configured from Step 1. Continue to fine-tune your matching process.

Tip: It’s generally best to complete these steps in order before inviting participants.

3. When to Launch Registration

Once all checklist items are marked complete, you’ll be able to turn registration on. We recommend keeping registration open for 1–3 weeks to give participants enough time to sign up before transitioning to the Matching phase.
