Programs have multiple settings that can be configured to best structure your Program for participants. These settings also control whether managers can view participation in the My Teams view and, when enabled for your organization, whether managers can register or match Users on behalf of their direct reports.

Program Settings page overview

  • 1. Program Name
  • 2. Program Description: A brief description of the Program, visible to participants when registering for a Program.
  • 3. Program Banner: This image is used on the participant homepage to identify the Program and in all Program emails.

  • 4. Email Header: You can choose how the Program Banner image is cropped when displayed in emails. This is useful if you prefer a shorter version of the banner for emails, to prioritize the email content.
  • 5. Admin Management: This section allows you to choose which Admins can manage the Program.
  • 6. Support Contacts: These users will be notified when new users join the Program or need help. For more details, see Adding Program Support Contacts.
  • 7. Participation Visibility to Managers: This toggle controls whether or not this Program will be visible in the My Teams view. This defaults to ON, but it may be useful for Admins to toggle this off for sensitive Programs that should not be visible.
  • 8. Manager Permissions: This section covers settings that allow managers to take action in Together on behalf of their direct reports.
    • 9. Managers can register their direct reports: When enabled, managers can register eligible direct reports into this Program on their behalf from the My Teams view.
    • 10. Managers can select matches for their direct reports: When enabled, managers can create matches on behalf of registered direct reports from the My Teams view.
  • 11. Require Application to Register: This setting determines whether participants must be approved via application before joining the Program.
  • 12. Archive: Archiving will end all Matches in a Program and set the Program to archived. See How do I Archive a Program?
  • 13. Delete Program: Deleting a Program will remove the Program and all data in the Program. You will not be able to report on data from deleted Programs. For any Programs with real participant data, archiving is recommended instead.
Manager Settings

The Managers can register their direct reports and Managers can select matches for their direct reports settings must first be enabled for your organization by Together Support. If you do not see these settings in your Program Settings page, Together Support can enable them for you.
